Gentle aerobics (low impact)

Maria  is bringing a new exercise class to Llanigon to help people get fitter and stronger no matter what their age or current fitness.

Low impact aerobics is suitable for all levels, including seniors, pregnant individuals and those who haven't exercised since school! It's very beginner-friendly so don't think you won't be able to do it - you definitely can.

It  involves movement to music and strength exercises and,   best of all,  there's no rush at the end - you can stay on  to socialise over a  free cuppa!

You don't need any special equipment. Just come in some loose clothing.

Classes run on Friday mornings starting at 9.30 am

The cost is just £7 to get fitter and stronger in a 45 minute session led by Maria who is a  trained personal trainer.

If you want to find out about this class call Maria on 07920 554 086 , email her on fitterwithmaria@gmail.com  or visit her website at fitterandstronger.com

Ladies' Friendship Circle

We are a group of  ladies (largely single and on the mature side!) who started meeting up just after COVID as we reflected on the loneliness and sense of isolation we had experienced under the restrictions. We decided things needed to change.

We started meeting up on the 1st Tuesday of each month at Llanigon Village Hall between 2 pm and 4 pm.

Sometimes we have a guest speaker or a demonstration and sometimes we entertain ourselves.  In someways it's a little like the WI but without the formality or the jam competition but there's always tea, coffee and cakes!

The cost is just £2 which all goes towards hiring the Hall and paying guest speakers.

If you like the sound of what we do, please come along, You don't have to be a 'mature' lady to join us - age is not a barrier to enjoying cake.

If you want to find out more please call Polly Bishop on 01497 821248.
